With a breathtaking open terrace floating above the water, Eau Lounge offers a unique setting with views of both the Willems Bridge and the Erasmus Bridge. Eau Lounge is the perfect choice for various events such as weddings, company parties, BBQs, meetings, birthdays and baby showers. The entire terrace can be covered for all weather conditions, and with sufficient heaters the terrace is comfortable all year round.

Eau Lounge offers a range of options, from drinks and snacks to BBQs and walking dinners. The location is equipped with a DJ booth and set, allowing parties to be organized seamlessly. Eau Lounge takes care of the entire organization of your event, whether it is a wedding, birthday or company party. Thanks to the 24-hour permit, you have the flexibility to determine the end time of your event yourself, so you can enjoy yourself until the late hours.

Accessibility

Eau Lounge is located between the Willemsbrug and the Erasmus Bridge, in the same building as My Life (former Maastheater), but on the waterfront with a terrace on the Maas. The location is easily accessible on foot, by car or by bicycle. There is a dock right next to Eau Lounge, making the location also accessible by water taxi. When it comes to parking, there are several options available. A popular choice is parking on the Noordereiland across the water, where the rate is 2 euros per hour and it is an 800 meter walk. Guests who are not from Rotterdam can also take the water taxi for 4.50 euros per person. Other parking options are in the Oude Haven (3-minute walk), on the waterfront at Munch under the Willemsbrug (3-minute walk), or in the garage of the Markthal. It is also possible to travel to Blaak station by train or metro.

Opening hours

Eau Lounge does not have regular opening hours, as the location is exclusively available for private events such as weddings, company parties, birthdays and promotional parties. Those interested in reserving the venue are encouraged to contact Eau Lounge to schedule an appointment and discuss options for their specific event.

Prices

Eau Lounge can be rented for 30 to 300 guests. The rental of Eau Lounge is 350 euros excluding VAT for 6 hours, and for a longer rental period you will be charged 100 euros excluding VAT per additional hour. Even for shorter rental periods, the price remains 350 euros excluding VAT. In addition, a cleaning fee of 100 euros excluding VAT applies.

Food and Drink

At Eau Lounge, guests are spoiled with various buffet menus, luxurious snacks and an extensive walking dinner, all tailored to their preferences. For an informal and cozy experience, Eau Lounge also offers the option of a barbecue, both indoors and outdoors, with a breathtaking view over the Rotterdam skyline. The chefs prepare meat and fish dishes on the grill on site, with all sauces, salads and side dishes being home-made.

It is important to note that Eau Lounge is exclusively available for rental, and spontaneously dropping in for a dinner or buffet is not possible.

Bring your own Food and Drinks

A remarkable aspect of Eau Lounge is its flexibility in terms of catering. Although we collaborate with a caterer, Eau Lounge offers the option of own catering. It is important to note that seated dinners are not possible, even if guests bring their own tables and chairs.

For those who choose to arrange their own food, a fee of €7.50 excluding VAT per person will be chargedht. If Eau Lounge plates and cutlery are used, the fee is €10.00 excluding VAT per person. At Eau Lounge, the team is ready to meet all culinary needs and make the event a tasteful experience.

Music

At Eau Lounge you can adjust and enhance the musical atmosphere as desired. You have the option to hire a professional DJ for €150.00 excluding VAT per hour, with a minimum rental period of 3 hours.

Eau Lounge is equipped with a full DJ booth and CD players, which you can use free of charge for background music provided by Eau Lounge. If you prefer to bring your own DJ, a fee of €250.00 including VAT will be charged for the rental of the DJ set (consisting of 2 x Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS2 and 1 x DJM-900 NXS2). If you bring your own CD players, the fee remains the same.

For those who wish to bring their own music and play it via Spotify or a USB stick, this is permitted for a fee of €100.00. However, it is not allowed to arrive at the DJ set yourself.

Eau Lounge also offers a projector with screen for presentations, available for rental at a price of € 150.00 including VAT, including the screen. At Eau Lounge we strive to meet all your musical and presentation needs for an unforgettable event.

Decoration

At Eau Lounge, the location itself radiates beauty, so little additional decoration is needed. If you would like additional decorative elements such as balloons, flowers, and the like, you must provide this yourself. All decorations are welcome, with the exception of confetti, real fire, real candles and stickers. It is important that the decoration you bring is fireproof.

The Rotterdam Balloon Company offers the opportunity to provide balloons and balloon decorations at Eau Lounge. They are ready to assist in creating the desired atmosphere with appropriate and safe decorations. At Eau Lounge they strive to perfect every detail together with the guests for an unforgettable event.
