Located in the vibrant heart of Rotterdam, the Groot Handelsgebouw acts as a regular host for festive events and celebrations. As the Rotterdam Balloon Company we are privileged to often supply and provide balloons for these occasions, adding a touch of festive magic to this iconic building, as well as to the companies that have offices there.

The Groot Handelsgebouw, also known as GHG, is much more than just an impressive building. It remains an important business and cultural icon in Rotterdam, with more than 450 companies based there. This diverse group of companies, ranging from multinationals to startups and creative enterprises, contributes to the vibrant atmosphere and dynamic character of the building and the surrounding Rotterdam Central District.

The central location of the Groot Handelsgebouw, right next to Rotterdam Central Station, makes it a place where millions of national and international visitors pass every year. The building remains a crucial hub where Rotterdam meets the world.

Within the walls of this monumental building we find not only offices, but also three open courtyards, a spacious roof terrace, several shared communal areas and lounges, flexible office spaces and a range of food and beverage outlets and shops on the ground floor.
