Great on all counts. From Chatgpt: Café H.J. Melief Bender, established in 1876, is recognized as the oldest pub in Rotterdam. Originally starting as a liquor room, it has evolved into one of the city's most renowned cafés. After undergoing renovations, it reopened its doors on January 16, 2023, maintaining its authentic charm.

Found this bar by checking reviews and it was rated pretty good and was close by and unlike lots of bars in Rotterdam was open during the afternoon. Great bar. Great beer and friendly staff and customers and a good location.

The rudest waiter I ever met. Only because we spoke english. He threw the beer coaster on the table. And also he rolled his eyes and was not happy bevaus i wanted to pay.
