Although a slight delay a very positive experience. Good food court before you go through security. Lots of seating, reasonable choice on offer. Does close at 7pm though. Nice observation/smoking area where you could watch the aeroplanes. Also has a kiosk selling drinks and snacks, which aren't overpriced. Nice staff at security, engaging and happy to talk football. I appreciated their kind words. Duty free just before passport control, blink and you'll miss it. Not much on other side of passport control.

Lovely airport. Quick service. Nice panoramic terrace with smoking and runway views. The only paying lounge at this airport is not worth a visit, doesn't even have toilets.

1. Intl. Airport that sound like "Local" Airport, which owned and proud by Dutch people. Located in the land between Rotterdam and Den Hague. 2. So modern for interior and exterior, add with the touch of Holland culture. 3. Look so clean and tidy. Really appreciate for clean and maintenance team of this airport. 4. Much shops and food court in this airport. So, just prepare your EUR (€) to buy a food and beverage or shopping. 5. This airport so close from downtown of Rotterdam, all connected by public transportation.

The toilets smell like piss and they’re all down stairs with no lift. They have some queue and awning set up outside with signs making you walk a long way around to get into the departures entrance. The one food place past security had barely any food options actually out and available, and the expensive soup was left to over-boil.

An amazing airport with a great connection to The Hague city. I could only wish this airport would be an alternative to Eindhoven when flying to Central Europe.
