Open 1X a month on the 1st Saturday of the month!! So make sure to make plans ahead of time. We arrived late but had time to go for a ride on the old tram around the city. It took about 45 mins return. After this we took the old bus back into town. Absolutely lovely day out. And with the Rotterdam pass it's free to enter!

I think this museum is an amazing experience for the young and old! The museum is open only once a month, so I'd recommend to plan ahead — but the visit doesn't just start and end at the door — the experience can start (and end) way outside the museum gate with a vintage bus or a 102-year-old tram picking you up at select locations in the city. 🤗 Inside you will be greeted by very friendly volunteers who will be happy to answer your questions about how the public transport worked in the days past, or even teach you how to drive an old tram or a metro train 😊. And you can learn a bit more of Rotterdam history from public transport perspective. There are also facilities for children inside, and there's a small snackbar. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance.

Pity it's open only one day a month but a great place to visit, also with children of course. And great compliments to the volunteers who run the museum.

Special once a month open day. You can take a heritage tramride included in the entrance fee from Rotterdam Centraal to the museum and back. Trams of all ages , also a few buses and a special metro exhibition for an anniversary. There is a cafe in the tramshed.

There's a monthly open day on the first Sunday of each month. Tickets include a vintage tram ride from, and back to, Rotterdam Centraal station. The tram shed holds a range of trams from past ages. There are also models and films. There is also a canteen on the premises.
