As the Rotterdam Balloon Company, we had the honor of livening up the festive Opening of this Coffee Company with colorful balloons, and we would like to tell you why this place is so special.

At CC Meent it's all about coffee and the art of city life. It is a place where you can sit at the long table and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, accompanied by a newspaper. In summer you can sit on their terrace and enjoy the warm sun while watching people.

The history of Coffeecompany began in 1996, when the very first branch opened its doors. The concept arose from KoffieDick's love for coffee and Ricks' fascination with city life as they had experienced it in New York and London. Over the years, Coffeecompany conquered Amsterdam and other Dutch cities with multiple locations, each with a unique atmosphere and appearance.

One of the unique aspects of Coffeecompany is their commitment to coffee farmers. They believe that coffee beans are far too often treated as anonymous raw materials. That is why they have direct contact with coffee farmers and pay fair prices that are commensurate with the quality of the coffee beans. This allows them to create unique coffee recipes and serve high-quality coffee.

Coffeecompany is not just a coffee shop; it is a craft. They use purpose-built espresso machines and offer extensive barista training in their coffee warehouse in Amsterdam. Annually they host the CC Barista Cup, where baristas compete for the top prizes by showcasing their skills, from grinding to foaming and latte art.

Coffeecompany's mission is to discover the best coffees in the world, continuously improve their knowledge of roasting and brewing and allow as many people as possible to enjoy high-quality coffee.
