Really elegant building on the inside and the outside. Pretty easy, I booked tickets in advance, just scan in and then you can start. I started on the 3rd floor exhibition, this one was about the colonial history of the Netherlands. The exhibition I really liked was on the 2nd floor, it was titled "Made in China." This outlined a lot of China's history and their contributions to the world. Unfortunately the 1st floor exhibition was closed but it was really nice to see the dining area, amazing view. Overall nice to visit.

Extremely nice staff. I didn’t have time to see the whole museum but I saw the temporary exhibition and it was very well laid out. For the one floor I saw it was great. Will update my rating when I go back to see the full thing

Enjoyable museum with different exhibitions. I enjoyed the exhibition about the African cultures very much and learned some new things thanks to that exhibition. The location of the museum is also on a great spot, close to the Erasmus bridge and there is a great view from the museum.

Very good museum. The exhibitions Colonialism and Rotterdam and A World in Common (photography) are very well curated and are very, very interesting. I just wished they had more explanations, for the Colonialism and Rotterdam exhibit, in English. Overall, an interesting museum to not be missed. I went in the morning (ascension holiday) and it was quiet. It also has a cafe and it seemed that they served brunch/light meals.

In the land of the finest museums in the world, the World Museum (Het Wereldmuseum) is most underrated. This ethnographic museum is a hidden treasure right in the heart of the city surrounded by spectacular views of the river. An absolute must if you live here or if you come and visit Rotterdam.
