One of my favourite places in the City! The food is gorgeous and it makea you feel great 😍 the place is very cozy and the staff is always very friendly. You can also bring your dog which is great. They also have amazing gin tonics (hibiscus and lychee is the best 👌 )

Loved the decor, loved the menu and especially the beautiful desserts! The duck was unfortunately overcooked, very crispy skin but the meat already turned fully grey but everything else was very tasty. Will come back again to try more of the menu.

The good: great drinks, cute decor, wonderful chili oil. I had milk tea, which was surprisingly strong. My friend had some coconut cocktail (mocktail?) which she said was nice. The decor was cute and it's a nice place to chill. When we arrived at the table I quickly noticed the suspiciously missing soy sauce and chili oil, but our server noticed (or heard me gasped in horror 'where is the chili oil?') and brought us some. It was beautifully spicy, such a pleasant surprise. Also, amazing server! :) The not so good: the dishes we tried were so-so. The hakau skin was too thick, and same with the vegan dimsum we ordered. The salted egg squid barely had any salted egg (flavour) on it. The low mein was not bad, but nothing to write home about. I don't think I'll come back for the food, but definitely for the milk tea!

I was here for the first time and decided to try the recommended ‘must try’ dishes. Duck Bao Bao, homemade tofu with chili, hot and sour soup were amazing! I really liked the balance of the menu, which is probably not good for everyone, but very convenient for those who are not very versed in the regional differences in Chinese cuisine. The staff is also very kind and welcoming. I didn’t like that plastic sticks which are so shabby and look old. And the second room we sat in is much less attractive than the main one.

The chicken wrapped in sticky rice dish was amazing! Other Chinese restaurants usually use the prefrozen dish, but Shanghai Papa makes it fresh. Other dishes were good too, being served in a good portion.
