Tai Wu Chinese Restaurant – A Solid Spot for Authentic Chinese Cuisine Tai Wu in Rotterdam is a go-to for authentic Chinese dishes, and my visit there didn’t disappoint! The variety on the menu is impressive, catering to both traditional tastes and those looking for something more familiar. The portions are generous, making it great for sharing with a group. The food overall was flavorful, with the dim sum being a highlight for me—fresh, well-seasoned, and served quickly. However, some of the mains could have used a bit more seasoning to really make the flavors pop. The service was efficient, though it felt a bit rushed at times, especially during busy hours. The ambience is simple but welcoming, with a lively atmosphere that adds to the experience. It’s clear this spot is popular for good reason! While it’s not perfect, Tai Wu delivers on its promise of great Chinese food and is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Very good canton food, especially the steamed dim sum. What we ordered, the tastes are almost same as they are in canton. Very happy and satisfied with the food.

In Christmas day, it was completely full of customers and the queue reached to the entrance. In the boxing day, there was vacancy and I was a walk-in customer(better have them called before you went to this restaurant). I ordered stir-fry beef rice noodle and salt pepper chicken meat balls. They both taste like Hong Kong food and are delicious. Service is satisfactory and like all other Chinese restaurants. Atmosphere is that all customers are talking around. If you want to taste Hong Kong restaurant, this is the one.
