The Opening of the new Dudok Patisserie branch on the Meent became even more festive thanks to the colorful contribution of the Rotterdam Balloon Company, which supplied the perfect balloon decoration to mark the moment.

The history of Dudok started as a modest corner in the first branch of café brasserie Dudok aan de Meent. This is where the baking of the legendary Dudok Apple Pie began 32 years ago according to a secret recipe. The cake quickly gained fame, not only among the people of Rotterdam but also far beyond. Dudok's delicious apple pie found its way into many catering establishments in the Netherlands and became a culinary phenomenon.

Although the cakes are no longer baked on site in the catering establishments, but originate in the bakery in Barendrecht, the quality and taste remain unchanged. The Dudok Patisserie range is now varied and includes not only the famous apple pie, but also other tasty creations such as the refreshing lemon meringue pie, the festive Red Velvet pie and the decadent chocolate truffle pie for the true chocolate lover.
