The lunch was nothing special and the coffee not really good. We have ordered a croque madame and the croissants as well Americano and cappuccino. The service was completely disorganised. They came to our table two times with a wrong order. An avocado sandwich instead of the croissants and a croque Madame which was actually sth like ham and kaas tosti without bechamel sauce in brown Bread and not in white as I requested. I expected the staff to be more careful and attentive when they take and bring orders. The coffee nothing special. I am not coming here again for breakfast or lunch.

Probably the best spare ribs I've ever had. Chef Timothy is fantastic. For what appears as a classic pub both the service and food are absolutely top notch. I've been traveling around the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic for a month and this is absolutely in the top 3 meals I've had. Can't wait to go back.

I went to Sijf for a Company's dinner. Although the place was quite crowded, the service was nice. The food we had were good as well as the price.

One of our favourite Bars in Rotterdam. We love this cozy and charming atmosphere like in an old Pub 😊. Very good selection of fresh draught beers 🍻. We had a shared plater with different finger food. It was soooo yummy 😋👌. Especially the ribs 🤤. We definitely come back when we're in Rotterdam. Thank you so much for the amazing evenings. Cheers ✌️

Editing my previous comment very below: We were there yesterday for having quick beers and fries as people do when they go places like that. They said they have a place for an hour which was fine for us. We waited for around 25 minutes to order beers and we went to the bar to give our order since they were standing there for a long while but not taking our order. When we ordered they were not comfortable with us ordering there like they care how we order. Our beers came but the fries we ordered took a while at least 20-25 minutes. So we were there for 45 minutes without the simplest order and we only had an hour as they said at the beginning. So we approached to a waiter to check the fries, he never checked. When we asked for the reciept they acted like not including the fries was their gesture. I don’t know what has changed in few months but they were rude. we are always nice, smiley and easy customers so i wanted to change my nice comment below. Great place! Very nice atmosphere, good beer and very friendly staff, definitely add this to your list! It was our first time here but we will definitely come here often:) Ps: we didn’t eat here yet.
