Great, nice, down to earth club and grounds. Enjoyable, friendly, relaxed. Only football club known to sell branded bird houses. Best club hymn I know: ‘ferme jongens, stoere knapen’ etc. Sheer class.

Excelsior Vs AZ Alkmaar. 1-1. Great little stadium. Very friendly atmosphere. Lots of kids. Entertaining match and late equaliser for home team so fans all went away happy.

I went to the Van Persie tribune, it was a good time. Stadium is small but cozy, with full of people supporting their dear Excelsior Rotterdam even though the club is almost facing relegation. Football is love! I would and probably will go back to see Excelsior.

Managed to attend the game last night and it certainly helped past the time whilst away from UK. Seeing a great game of football and experiencing a different view of the game I love. Stadium was functional, with some food/drink options, artificial pitch, good helpful security/stewards on call. Certainly I shall be back !
