Iskender

 

Iskender, the restaurant that was once located in a stately building on the Doklaan in Rotterdam, was a place where warm hospitality and a rich entourage were central. In the past, we as the Rotterdam Balloon Company have regularly provided the balloon decorations for the parties and gatherings that took place here.

The Iskender restaurant offered a range of options for both business and private occasions. With a beautiful large terrace, an attractively decorated restaurant area and an enchanting room and lounge in a 1001 night atmosphere, Iskender was the ideal location to enjoy delicious dishes in a pleasant ambiance.

What really made Iskender special was the ability to reserve the entire restaurant, function room and lounge (suitable for up to 450 people) for special occasions. Whether it was a large party, a business meeting, an anniversary or a wedding, Iskender was ready to meet the wishes of its guests.

The restaurant specialized in Turkish cuisine and was known for its flavorful dishes, including the beloved dish "Iskender kebab." The guests could enjoy a culinary journey through the delicious flavors of Turkey.

Unfortunately, we have to mention that Iskender Rotterdam has permanently closed its doors. Although the restaurant is no longer in operation, many still have fond memories of the hospitality, atmosphere and delicious food that was once served here.

As the Rotterdam Balloon Company, we are grateful to have been part of the festive moments celebrated at Iskender. Our balloon decorations have contributed to the special atmosphere of this beautiful restaurant, and we hope that the memories of Iskender will continue to live on in the hearts of those who enjoyed memorable gatherings and delicious dishes here.
